What makes a transfer safe
- —An identified driver with a name, waiting with a sign. You know who's driving.
- —A price agreed before you get in. Without it, any ride becomes a negotiation.
- —A vehicle that actually fits your group and luggage.
- —Flight tracking: someone knows when you land and adjusts if you're late.
- —A number to message if anything changes — one that answers.
Signs it is NOT a safe transfer
- —You're approached in the terminal and there's no price in writing.
- —A price is quoted, then an “extra” appears for luggage or area.
- —The vehicle doesn't fit your group or your bags.
- —Nobody asks for your flight number.
- —There's no way to reach them after booking.
About the area itself
Punta Cana is built around tourism: airport, resorts, gated residential areas and main roads. The run between the airport and the resorts is short and well established. Most first-timer worries disappear on arrival — and they disappear more smoothly when the transfer is booked in advance.
Frequently asked
Is it safe to travel at night?
Yes. Main roads are in good shape and well lit along the tourist stretches. Still, send us your flight number so we can track you if you land late.
Do drivers speak English?
Most do, at least enough for the trip. And if you need something specific, message us on WhatsApp and we'll coordinate it.
