The times, by area
- —PUJ → Bavaro: about 30 minutes (19 km). It's the biggest area, so it varies by hotel.
- —PUJ → Cap Cana: about 25 minutes (11 km). The shortest run from the airport.
- —PUJ → Uvero Alto: about 50 minutes (41 km). The far end, past Bavaro.
- —PUJ → Macao: about 45 minutes (36 km).
- —SDQ (Santo Domingo) → Punta Cana: about 2 hours (184 km). Not a short hop — plan for it.
These are Google Maps times plus a 10-minute cushion. That margin covers what the map doesn't see: getting out of the airport with luggage, the first hotel stop in the area, and main-road traffic in the afternoon.
The number that actually matters
On the way back, the question isn't how long the drive takes — it's what time you get picked up. It's calculated by airport so you arrive with margin and never rush:
- —From PUJ (Punta Cana): we pick you up 3 hours before your flight.
- —From LRM (La Romana): 4 hours before.
- —From SDQ (Santo Domingo): 6 hours before.
If your flight lands at night
You can book it the same way. All we need is your flight number: we track the flight and know if it's running late. If it is, the driver adjusts — you don't have to call or worry about arriving to find nobody there.
Frequently asked
Is it faster at night?
Usually yes, there's less traffic. The times above already include a cushion, so they hold either way.
What if my hotel isn't in these areas?
Send us the hotel name and we'll confirm the exact time and price. We cover the whole east coast, plus La Romana and Santo Domingo.
