Cancellation Policy
Isla Go Transport — Tourist Transportation in the Dominican Republic
At Isla Go Transport, we provide private VIP tourist transportation to and from Punta Cana (PUJ), La Romana (LRM), and Santo Domingo (SDQ) airports. Our commitment is to deliver a punctual, safe, and comfortable experience, governed by the following terms:
Cancellations by Customer
More than 48 hours in advance: 100% full refund. Between 24 and 48 hours in advance: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours or same day: non-refundable.
No-Show Policy
If the customer fails to appear at the agreed pick-up location, date, and time, the ride is marked as "No Show" and billed at 100% of the total amount. For airport pick-ups, actual tracked flight arrival time is taken into account.
Complimentary Wait Time
Airports (PUJ, LRM, SDQ): up to 60 minutes of free waiting time included from the moment the aircraft lands. Hotels, Airbnbs, or other pick-up spots: up to 15 minutes of free waiting time. Extended waiting time is subject to vehicle availability and may incur extra charges.
Booking Modifications
Changes in date, schedule, destination, or passenger count must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. You can modify your booking anytime on Manage My Booking (/gestionar). All changes remain subject to fleet availability. Same-day modifications may incur extra fees or may not be possible.
Customer Delays & Readiness
Customers must be ready at the scheduled time. Unreported long delays may lead to trip cancellation without refund.
Severe Weather & Force Majeure
In the event of severe tropical storms, hurricanes, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control, customers may: - Reschedule at zero penalty, or - Request a full or partial refund depending on the situation.
Cancellations by Isla Go Transport
Isla Go Transport reserves the right to cancel a service due to operational, mechanical, or safety reasons. In such cases, a 100% full refund or immediate equivalent/upgraded private transfer is provided at no extra cost.
Payment & Refund Processing
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Estimated timeline: 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Third-party processing fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
Luggage & Passenger Conduct
Every service includes standard luggage per passenger. Oversized or special items (surfboards, golf equipment, bikes) must be registered in advance. Open alcohol consumption, damage to the vehicle, or inappropriate conduct may result in immediate termination of service without refund.
By confirming a reservation with Isla Go Transport, the customer agrees to have read and accepted these terms. Thank you for choosing us for your travels in the Dominican Republic.
